Jacquelyn “Jackie” Annette Crenshaw, age 62 a residence of Charleston Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare Facility in Cleveland Tennessee. She was born October 2, 1957 to Doyle and Anna Bell Phillips,
She is preceded in death by her father, Doyle Phillips; grandparents, Wheeler and Fannie Easter Berry, Clyde and Alice Phillips; aunts, Evelyn Law, Mildred McGee, Wanda Berry; uncles, Alvin Phillips, James Phillips, Hoyt Berry, Billie Berry; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Crenshaw; father-in-law, William Jarrett.
Jackie was a graduate of Charleston High School and also attended Cleveland State Community College.
She was a faithful member of Green‘s Chapel CPCA, where she served as a member in the Sanctuary Choir, and the Praise and Worship Team.
Her singing was Angelic, sweet, gentle, and pure. Her favorite song was “I love the Lord”.
She was an active member of the Adult Sunday School Class, Christian Education, Assistant Superintendent, Senior Missionary, and held leadership positions in the Tennessee and Hiwassee Presbytery Synodical.
Jackie was previously employed with Bradley Cleveland Community Services Agency as the coordinator of the Charleston Senior Activity Center and was dedicated in driving Charleston seniors to the Senior Citizens Christmas Party each year.
Jackie and her husband Stacy were the owners of “Jackie’s Home Cooking” restaurant for over 12 years.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 41 years, William Stacy Crenshaw; her mother, Anna Bell Phillips; daughter, Fallon Berry; aunts, Betty Berry, and Marie Berry both of Charleston Tennessee, Marie Phillips of Cleveland Tennessee; uncle, Paul (Dorothy) Phillips; brother-in-laws, Keith (Connie) Crenshaw of Charleston Tennessee, Kevin Crenshaw of Athens Tennessee; nephews, Brandon Crenshaw and Tanner Phillips of Charleston Tennessee; many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
Her body may be viewed Wednesday, February 5 from 12 noon until 7:00p. m. at the Patton Funeral Home Chapel, 265 Fair Street S. E., Cleveland Tennessee. The family will receive visitors Thursday, February 6 from 1:00p.m. until 2: 00p.m at Green’s Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America, 239 Bates Street, Charleston, TN. Dr. Harry M.
