Jasia Hale Obituary

Saturday, August 15, 2020, surrounded by her loving and supportive family, Jasia L. Hale passed away after a 19-year battle of Shaken Baby Syndrome. She was born July 24, 2001 at Bradley Memorial Hospital in Cleveland, TN.  Jasia was a graduate of Cleveland High School, Class of 2020. She enjoyed being with family and listening to music. Her smile and laughter could light up any room; inspiring others to do the same. She was the true definition of a fighter!  She loved playing possum, especially when it came to schoolwork or something she did not want to do, which was generally followed by a roll of her eyes. (LOL) Please make no mistake; she was much smarter than most gave her credit for.  She was a tenacious clever young woman worthy of all praise! There is no doubt she fulfilled her God-given purpose here on this earth.

Preceded in death by her great grandparents, Margaret Tibbs, Hurley E.L; Tibbs, Mary Etta Kennedy, and Sammuel Jarrret Sr.; uncles, Sammuel Jarrret Jr, Rodney Kennedy Sr, Edward Kennedy Sr., and Alvin Tibbs; aunts, Rozetta Tibbs and Aundrell Hall.

Left to mourn her passing is her courageous loving mother, Kenneshia Tibbs; two brothers, Jovohntae Tibbs and Willie Massey; god brother/ cousin, Demetrus Tibbs Jr.; grandparents, Donna Kennedy and Kenneth Tibbs; aunt, Demetria Tibbs (Maurico Tuggle); uncle, Demetrus Tibbs Sr. (Heather Tibbs); special cousins, Mila Tibbs, Jamiya Mee, Sofia Espanosa, Leighaja Tibbs and Asia Strawn; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend of the family, Carrie Goldston.
