Jeanette Stewart Obituary

Jeanette Deloris (Love) Stewart, age 84 went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2023 at Fort Sanders Presbyterian Hospital.
Jeanette Stewart was mom, grandmom, Gee, auntie, sister stewart, Ms. J and Jeanette. Her greatest love was Jesus Christ. She was a previous member at Church of God Sanctified of Knoxville and served as an usher. Jeanette relocated to Nashville, TN. and became a member of Stokers Lane Church of God. She worked for The State of TN, retired and moved back to Knoxville in 2010. She became a member of Foster Chapel Baptist Church. She was a faithful member and loved her church family. Deacon Anthony Hancock became a household name and she would say he’s “Johnny on the Spot”. Jeanette would say Deacon Hancock called to check on me, brought me something , or he prayed the best prayer. When you entered her house her theme movie would be Perry Mason, she would watch the episodes day and night every day. She was a professional shopper with QVC, Walmart, Overstock.com, Sam’s and various others. Her favorite foods were fried chicken (Bojangles), turnip greens and Blue Bell Ice Cream. Her hobbies were cross stitching, crochet, word search, and plants (African Violet). She had her own personal driver who was her son-in-law, Earl Williams. He took her to grocery stores, doctor appointments and anywhere else she requested. Jeanette will be remembered for her famous homemade rolls, caramel cakes, Christmas tree cookies, fudge, jello pie, cornbread dressing and candied sweet potatoes. For you who didn’t know her now you do. We love and miss you!!
