Jeffrey Hill

Jeffrey L. "Sugar Hill" Hill, of Knoxville, TN, born May 10, 1961, passed away December 20, 2018.

Preceded in death by his parents, James and Nancy Carson Hill; brothers, James, II and Michael Hill and James Simpson and sister, Linda Hodge.

Survived by daughter, Jande' Hill; granddaughter, Jariah Myers; brothers, Dwight (Aliene) Hill of Chattanooga, TN and Frederick (Joice) Carson of Bullard, TX; sisters, Jackie (William) Morton of Knoxville, TN and Jasmine (Malcolm) Howerton of Charlotte, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Special thank you to Nurse Joy Petree, Dr. Misty Anderson and Tracy Holt of Cherokee Health Systems, UT Medical Staff 8 East and 4 West, and lastly Pamela Dean, whom was an excellent caregiver. 

Friday, December 28, 2018, the family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with service to follow at Rogers Memorial Baptist Church, 520 College Street. Rev. Dr. Michel S.E. Caldwell, Pastor and Rev. Dr. Valentino McNeal, Eulogist. Interment will immediately follow at East TN Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier Highway) where military honors and a white dove release will conclude the service.
