Jeffery S. “Mouse” White went home to be with the Lord at the age of 56. He was born in Cleveland TN. to Mamie White-Perkins and the late Jesse White Sr. Jeffery was raised by Elijah Paul Perkins.
He was preceded by his father; his grandfather, Elder A.L. Thomas; grandmother, Minnie F. Thomas; his uncles, Leon Shelby, Alvin Phillips, Eddie Dancy, and James Bailey.
Jeffery was a graduate of Bradley High school and Cleveland State Community College. He was employed at TDOT for over ten years.
Jeffery was a member of St. James Cumberland Presbyterian Church under the leadership of Rev. Rhonda S. Westfield. He sang in the choir and was a very talented artist, poet, and a skilled carpenter.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Mamie (Elijah) Perkins; sister Amy (Sam) Cramer; brother, Jesse White Jr.; aunts, Annie Dancy of Chattanooga, Tn., Betty Shelby, Marie Phillips, Carolyn Young, Rev. Mattie (Thomas) Benton, Cora Bailey all of Cleveland Tn., Doris Simmons of Oklahoma; Uncle, Robert (Bridget) Thomas of Cleveland, Tn. nieces, Jessica White, Lakisha White and Ieisha White; grand niece, McKenzie; nephew, Tashaun White; special cousin, Rev. Eric Jones; a host of other relatives and cousins.
Body may be viewed Saturday, February 9th from 1:00p.m. until 6:00p.m. at Patton Funeral Home Chapel.
Family will receive friends at St. James Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Sunday, February 10th from 1:30p.m until service time at 2:00p.m. Reverend Eric Jones will be the Eulogist, and Reverend Rhonda S. Westfield will officiate.
