Jessie Marie Allen was born in Hartsville, South Carolina, on May 24, 1959, and passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth Frierson and Ernest Cuffie; her husband, William E. Allen Sr.; and siblings, Ernest (Laverne) Cuffie, Kathy Cuffie, and Franklin Cuffie.
Jessie dedicated over two decades of her life to serving as a CNA and caregiver in multiple hospitals and nursing homes.
She was a devoted member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee, where she lived. Jessie was known for her grace, compassion, and unwavering dedication to bringing joy to all. Jessie was the heart and soul of her family.
She leaves behind four children: Demont Cuffie (Lamonica), Sharita Riggins (Michael), William "Earl" Allen Jr., and Nicole McCutchen (Lamar).
She is also survived by eleven grandchildren: Shakeem McCutcheon, Nydera Cuffie, William Earl Allen III, Daylin Johnson, Desmond Allen, Justyn Cuffie, Jameir McCutchen, Dasia Cuffie, Janiah Riggins, Ava McCutchen, Sayora McCloud and one great-grandchild, Sierra McCutcheon; siblings, Joyce McLauren, Sabrina Turner, Victor Jackson, Abel Jackson, Stephanie Jackson, Pam and Daryl and a host of close cousins, family and friends.
One of Jessie’s favorite prayers that she says all the time is, any hand, any weapon, formed against us shall not prosper in the name of Jesus we pray Amen.
Jessie (Becky) Marie Allen will be greatly missed but forever loved and always cherished in our hearts.
