Joseph “Little Joseph” Cory Hines died suddenly in the early hours of December 6, 2021. Born April 28, 1994 in Knoxville, TN, he was the beautiful son of Joseph Clayton Hines, Jr. and Stephanie Nicole Moulden. He loved spending time with his family especially his mother and his sister Cierra. The three of them had an inseparable bond until his mother’s passing. With his contagious smile and witty sense of humor, Joseph had a knack for lifting the spirits of everyone around him, even when he was having a hard time himself.

A master in the kitchen too, Joseph enjoyed cooking for his family as much as they loved eating his delicious meals, especially his 3 a.m. breakfasts. Joseph’s passing will leave a huge void in the hearts of all those he loved and who loved him.

He was reunited with his mother, Stephanie Nicole Moulden; grandmothers, Brenda “Nana” Sue Lane and Jo Ann “Granny” Hines Dixson; great grandparents, Sgt. Joe and Mary Hines; uncle, Dex Hines and cousin, Oshalique “Esha” Hoffman.

Left to cherish his memory: father, Joseph Clayton Hines, Jr.; sisters, Cierra Nicole Moulden, Yazmen Whaley, Keli Carter, and Kariya Bush; brother, Juan Warfield; grandfather, Charles “Pawpaw” Moulden, uncles, Charles Moulden and Tony Hines; great aunts, Debbie Hill, Vicky Jackson, Fay Hines, Leilani Hines, Karen “Kelly” Jackson, Jackie (Willie) Williams and Lisa Hines: a host of other family and friends to include devoted cousins, Joetta Hines Crawford, Crystal Hines-Kimber and the Burlington Community.

Tuesday, December 14, 2021, a public walkthrough scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Greater Warner Tabernacle A.M.E. Zion Church, 3800 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Knoxville, TN.
