Joy Wiley – departed this earthly life Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at the age of 65. Joy was born in Oxford, MS as the daughter of Sam and Mary Agnes Wiley. 

Joy moved to Knoxville, TN in the early to mid-1970. Joy attended school and raised her son and her adopted son. Joy dedicated 20+ years of her life to serving as a Caregiver and CNA in multiple nursing and retirement facilities including Holston Health and Rehabilitation Center and American House West Retirement. Joy had a love and passion of caring for people.

Joy is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Mary Agnes Wiley.

Joy leaves to cherish her memories, sons: Christopher “Chris” Wiley Sr. and Wiilie Wiley; grandsons: Christopher “CJ” Wiley Jr., Jaylin “Bubba” Faulkner and Traveon “Bam Bam” Wiley; brothers, Prinder (Mearlin) Mitchell of Detroit, MI, Sammy Wiley of Oxford, MS, Ronnie (Helen) Wiley of Pueblo, CO and Steven Wiley of Knoxville, TN; sisters: Agnes Parker of Detroit, MI, Bonnie Douglas of Memphis, TN, Joyce (Ron) Chappele of Capitol Heights, MD and Shari Wiley of Oxford, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends including best friend Nancy Byrd.
