Juan Zel Pryor, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, beloved great-grandmother, and steadfast servant of Christ, entered eternal rest on January 11, 2025. Born on December 15, 1947, to Jewel Henderson, Sonny (LC) Nelson, and Charles Henderson, Juan Zel lived a life rich
with love, faith, and family.

Juan Zel was the treasured granddaughter of Tommie Bell and CA Nelson, who instilled in her the values of kindness, resilience, and unwavering belief in God. These values became the foundation of her life's work as a nurturing matriarch and spiritual guide for her family and community.

She was the beloved wife of Edward Pryor, sharing a life of partnership, faith, and love.

Juan Zel was the proud mother of Monrico Hall (deceased), George Marcus Hall, Jeron Towns, and Jameszella Carter. Her unwavering support and devotion to her children exemplified her boundless capacity for love. As a grandmother, she delighted in the joy and accomplishments of her grandchildren: Kharma, Indigo, Sharla, Carico, Adrian, Charity, Moneisha, Simone, Deandre, Jewell, Hazarata, Jeron Jr., Rob Jhay; and great-grandchildren: Dream, Kross and Alashajuan;sister, Jennifer Williams; and niece, Tierra Brown.
A lifelong believer in Christ, Juan Zel dedicated her life to faith and service, inspiring those around her with her devotion. She carried her love for God, always offering guidance, compassion, and support to those in need.

Juan Zel's memory will forever remain a beacon of love, faith, and perseverance for all who knew her. As we grieve her passing, we also celebrate a life well-lived in the service of her family and her Lord.
