Kenneth E Allmon, Jr.

May 15, 1974 ~ January 24, 2021 (age 46)

Kenneth Eugene Allmon, Jr. "Ken" departed this life on January 23, 2021 in Knoxville, Tennessee.  He was born May 15, 1974 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Kenneth Sr. and Renee' T. Allmon.  Ken completed his high school education in the Knox County School System on June 24, 1992.  He loved to cook and had an aspiration of becoming a chef.  He loved trying new recipes for old time favorites too.  Ken enjoyed many things but his skilled craft was flooring.  He loved installing floors and making them better than they were; he was very good at it.  Never meeting a stranger...literally!  He once brought a homeless person into our home to shower and feed.  When asked, "Why did you do that?" He answered with a question, "What would Jesus do?" He was genuine in everything he said and anything he did.  He would give anyone his last dime or last meal without hesitation.  Ken will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lewis and Ella Taylor; paternal grandparents, Elder Joe and Elder Hattie Allmon; aunt and uncle, Johnnie D. and Clyde Hollingsworth; uncle, Isaiah Jones; aunt and uncle, Violet and Louis Thompson.

Left to mourn his passing: parents, Kenneth Sr. and Renee' T. Allmon; children, Xavier, Khalil, Renee', Dakira, Lavondez and Rezinae; three grandchildren, Nyir, Bailey and Xavier, Jr.; sister, Teresa Tanner of Hoover, AL; brothers, Jeffery Wilson, Jason Allmon, both of Knoxville, TN, John Swaggerty of Orlando, FL; aunts, Joann Moore of Knoxvile, TN, Vereda Taylor, Lois Adams, Robbie Patton of Sewanee, TN, Jervie (Jesse) Smedley of College Park, GA, Dru Hayworth of Riverdale, GA; uncles, Ralph (Rosie) Allmon of Knoxville, TN and Ahmed Adams of Decherd, TN; devoted friends, Jamie Wright, Eric Taylor, Rocky Rodgers, Brian Monday and Janardo Howell; close brother/ friend, Demarcus Clark; several cousins and a host of other family and friends too many to mention.
