Letha Louise Roberts, 87, of Athens, TN, peacefully departed on June 9, 2026 in her home surrounded by her children in Riceville TN. Letha was born in Athens Tn on November 30th, 1938 to Henry And Roxie Haley. She was the youngest of two children. She was raised as a Christian and gave her life to the Lord at an early age. Letha along with her husband were members of Greater Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. Letha attended Cook High School where she persuaded by her soon to be husband Charlie David Roberts and were married soon after on August 29, 1957. They were married for a wonderful 64 years.

She went on to be employed at Grace Peak Florist for several years followed by working for Beaunit Fiber. Soon after she found her career to be at Olin Chemical where she retired after 24 years of service. Letha and Charlie built a home filled with love and laughter. She loved baking, gardening and most of all making floral arraignments.

She was preceded in death by Henry and Roxie Haley, her husband Charlie David Roberts, son John Robert Ellis, daughter in law Theopher “Theo” Roberts and sister Evelyn Armstrong.

Left to cherish in her memory are her children, Michelle (Anthony) Benton, Charlie “Tommy” Roberts, Earl Franklin Gott, Machelle (Kris) Young, Christopher (Melanie) Roberts;sisters in law, Mattie(Ben)Robert's, Dolina (Nathaniel) Roberts and Nancy Roberts.
