Lillian Kathleen Blair

Lillian K. Blair, affectionately known as Lil, was born May 10, 1934, to the union of the late Reverend O.W. and Vernice Willis in Andersonville, Tennessee. Lil accepted Christ at an early age and had since served as President of the Choir and enjoyed spending time with church members. She was a faithful member of Mount Sinai Baptist Church.

Lil retired from K-25 as a taxi driver and a security guard. Her hobbies were crocheting, cross stitch, cooking, and bowling. She was a member of the 50 Plus Club. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her children and grandchildren especially during the holidays.

She departed this life on Saturday, March 19, 2022.

Preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Blair; parents; brothers, Clarence, Donald, Charles, Orville Jr., and Joseph Willis.

Left to cherish her loving memory are her children, Katrina (Warren) Moran, Dee Dee Chapman and Howard (Shirley) Chapman; grandchildren, Isaac Simmons, Candis (Chuck) Harvey and Dameon (Bobbie) Splawn; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; siblings, Hazel White, Shirley Winton, Robert Willis, Joan (Edward) Robinson and Kimberly Willis; sister-in-law, Linda Willis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to include special friends, Ms. Ruth Shannon, Ms. Artie M. Thaxton and Ms. Maggie Wolf.

Saturday, March 26, 2022, a public walkthrough is scheduled from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Mount Sinai Baptist Church, 420 Jarnigan Street, Clinton TN.  Adhering to COVID-19 protocol, social distancing and face coverings required. A Homegoing service will follow for immediate family and close friends. Reverend Joseph Colquitt will officiate, and Reverend Ernest Scruggs is the eulogist.  Flowers may be delivered to the church prior to the walkthrough.  Interment at Mount Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery where a white dove release will conclude the service.  Professional arrangements entrusted to Patton Funeral Home, Brian L.
