Obituary

Lillian Nelette Woodruff joined her Savior and devoted husband, Robert Lee "Bobby" Woodruff, Sr, in heaven on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. She was born to her late parents, Ernest Hall Sr. and Willie Mae Jefferson Hall on April 2, 1947 in Knoxville, TN. She graduated from East High School in 1966. Lillian worked as a Seamstress for 25 years and retired from Alpha Industries in 1987. Lillian was a devoted believer in Jesus Christ and served on the Mother Board of Mt. Moriah FBH and Heart of a Servant Church for over 20 years. 
 
Preceded in death by Rosezena Hall, Eliza Mae Cooper, Melzella Hall, Armethine Jackson, Virginia Hall-Jackson, Parthenia Hagler and Katherine Hall, sisters; Otis, Ernest Jr., Lewis and Willie James Hall, brothers. 
 
Survived by Coretta (Gary) McGraw, daughter; Robert Jr., and Demond Woodruff, sons; Jacqueline Woodruff, devoted daughter-in-law; Gary "G", Aquela McGraw, Terrance, Anita, Robert Woodruff III, Jalen, Montina Jones, Zoie and DJ Woodruff, grandchildren; Braden and Omarii Revels, Londyn McGraw, Nyla McGraw, Aleena Jones, Robert Woodruff IV, great grandchildren; Juanita Avery, sister; Robert Hall Sr, brother; Jeanetta Woodruff, mother-in-law; Betty Buffington and Barbara "Cookie" Woodruff, sisters-in-law; William "Billy" and Jackie Woodruff, brothers-in-law. 
 
Devoted adopted family, Keira (David), Westin, Jonathan, David Jr. (Breah), Lailiah, Levi, Kezia, Naomi, August, Benjamin, and Marcia (Lacy) Wyatt; devoted relatives, Verlina Crockett, Shirley Mack, Eva Mae Leverett, Mary Bazemore, Zena Moulden, Rose and Mary Francis Clark; friends and church family, Lewellyn Wiggins, Thurman (Rebecca) Kinnebrew, Herbert (Carolyn) Gusby, Henry “Buddy” (Rose) Cloud, Carolyn and Brantey Taylor, James “Chubby” Clark, Jackie Nance, JoAnne Easterly, Jeanette Farmer, Anthony (Regina) Campbell and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 
 
Friday, July 9, 2021,  a public walkthrough is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Greater Warner Tabernacle A.M.E. Zion Church, 3800 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Knoxville, TN. Social distancing and face coverings are required.  A service will follow for immediate family and close friends with Pastor Glenn Taylor as the eulogist.  Interment at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Sutherland Avenue entrance, where a white dove release will conclude the service.  Flowers may be delivered to the church the morning of the walkthrough.
