Mrs. Lizzie Mae Greene Wood passed away April 16, 2022 at Tennova Healthcare-Cleveland.
Mrs. Lizzie Mae Greene Wood was born January 28, 1924, to Carrie Bray and Grady Greene in Gray, Georgia.
She married Charlie Wood and to this union five children were born.
Along with her husband, four children, Robert Lee, Mattie, Mildred, and Frank Wood, preceded her in death.
Survived by her daughter, Sarah Wood; twelve grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren and twenty-eight great-great grandchildren; sisters, Mattie Hyatt of North Carolina, and Bessie Hector of New York; a host of other family and friends in Atlanta, Gray and Macon, Georgia, and Cleveland, Tennessee, where she lived over 35 years.
Saturday, April 23, 2022, family and friends may view from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Patton Funeral Home Chapel, 265 Fair Street SE, Cleveland, TN, with funeral to follow.
