Mary Elizabeth (Jackson) Moore, 85, of Knoxville, went home to be with the lord on December 26th, 2022.
She was born on July 20th, 1937, in Cleveland, Tn. Mary moved to Knoxville at the age of 18 and has resided here since.

She retired from Allied Chemical Company after many years. Mary loved the lord and was a long-time member of St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family and friends. She was one of the most giving people on God’s Earth. She was so full of love, laughter, and joy. Mary never met a stranger; she had a precious soul. Mary loved to travel and shop. Heaven will definitely be a little sweeter now.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Gertrude Jackson. Brother, Bobby Jackson.

She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Ann Brewer and Wanda Faye (Tom) Thompson; devoted nieces: Hope Brewer, Silia Jackson, Kim (Billy) Howard; nephews, Gerald Jackson, Michel Brewer. Thomas (Michelle) Thompson, Tim Thompson; devoted God Son, James ( Shay) Price; a host of great nieces and nephews; devoted friends, Robert Patton, Anne (Charlie) Walters, Abby (Greg) Blackmon, Bernadine Dorsett, Barbara Wade, Angelyn Campbell, Robert Hoyt, Nace Gettle Finger, Virginia Taylor, Delores Bewley, and many more to numerous name.
