Mary Irene Nichols

Mary Irene Nichols, 88, of Chicago, IL took her final breath on January 2, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband Lemmie Nichols, Sr. and daughter Quanzola Nichols. Mary is survived by her four children, Lemmie (Shirlene) Nichols Jr. of Chicago, IL, Ronald Nichols of Chicago, IL; Melody (Dennis) Boney of Hagerstown, MD and Alva (Erick) Smith of Knoxville, TN. In her honor a visitation, wake and funeral will be held at the Sheldon Heights Church of Christ located at 11325 South Halsted Street, Chicago, IL. Visitation will be on Friday, January 13, 2023, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Wake hour will be from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, January 14, 2023. The funeral will be on Saturday, at 11:00 am, January 14, 2023. Her burial will take place at the Mount Hope Cemetery, 11500 Fairfield Avenue, Chicago, IL at 2:00 pm. She will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.
