Mary Frances Westfield Arnold, age 95, was born in Cleveland, TN on January 23,1929 and peacefully went home to be with the Lord January 1, 2025. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Who was always there when she was needed most, offering support, wisdom, love in abundance and she was a beautiful soul who would help anyone.

Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband Willie Arnold; her son, Alan D. Arnold; her parents, Eli and Leona (Jarrett) Westfield; her sisters, Hazel Mee, Pauline Scott,Bertha King, Grace McCleary and Anna Tate; her brothers, Carl Westfield, Lester Westfield and Buddy Westfield.

Mary lived a full and beautiful life. She professed Christ at an early age and united in fellowship with Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was a dedicated member of The Leona Missionary Circle, Gospel Ensemble Choir and served faithful as a member of the kitchen committee. Mary was a graduate of College Hill School in Cleveland, TN and Morristown College in Morristown, TN. She worked for Progress for the People where they provided assistance to the community and those in need, while working as a hairdresser for many years. She later went on to work at Red food store where she worked in the deli until she retired. She was a blessing and a rare jewel who never met a stranger, a strong foundation and a beacon of hope and inspiration to many.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughters, Dana Staten of Charleston TN; Minister Kaye (Warbrit) Lowery of Cleveland TN; her sons, Keith (Beverly) Arnold of Charleston, TN; Chris (Gina) Arnold of Cleveland,TN; brother-in-Laws, Calvin Arnold and Sherman McCleary of Charleston, TN, along with countless nieces,nephews grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and friends who felt her warmth, generosity, love and her radiant smile that lit up the room. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, friends and singing praises to God, we will truly miss her dearly.
