Matthew Alexander Walker

WALKER, MATTHEW A., Age - 32, of Knoxville, received his call to be present with the Lord on July 6, 2024. Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Conley and Johnetta Whitmire, paternal grandparents Elder Marcus L. (Hattie M) Walker, Sr. Matthew was a very devoted son, brother, father, and friend to many. He was a graduate of Austin East High class of 2010 and employed at Knoxville Area Transit (KAT). 

Matthew was baptized at a young age at Canaan Baptist Church where he attended with his maternal grandmother since a young boy. 

He leaves to cherish his memories: parents, mother, Mia (Jeff) Conwell; father, Elder Marcus L (Tracy)Walker, Jr.; children, Trystan, Israel, and Shiloh Walker; brothers, Jayden, Jeff, Jeremiah; sisters, TeiAndrea and Ariana; aunts; Nichole (Dwight) Beasley, Tina Smith, and Cheryl Walker; uncles, Clayton ( Patricia) Martin, Aaron (Renae) Martin, Elder Joel (Julia) Walker, Elder David (Denise) Walker and Mark (Chenile) Brown. 

A host of family and friends who loved him dearly.
