Mitchell Wayne Smith Jr transitioned from this life to his eternal reward on April 19, 2026. Mitchell was born to the union of Mitchell Wayne Smith Sr and WenDee Larue Smith on May 20, 1991 in Knoxville, TN.

Mitchell was a graduate of West High School class of 2009, after graduation he was employed at GC Services and then went on to work for Eagle Bend Manufacturing for a number of years and was also employed at DeRoyal Industries.

Mitchell was sometimes referred to as Big Mitchee and loved playing Fortnite with his friends and he also loved to cook. Mitchell was a quiet soul and to some, he was a gentle giant with an infectious smile.

He was preceded in death by grandparents George Willis and Eloise White, Willie J Smith Jr and Elizabeth M Smith, his great  Aunt Virginia Matthews and his Aunt Sharon E Humphrey.

Mitchell leaves to cherish his memory his Mother WenDee L Smith and Father Mitchell W (Jacci) Smith Sr and his sister Brittany Hutcherson of Nottingham, MD.  Aunts - Hope White, Ramona Holloway, Angela Smith Howard and Yolanda Chigano; uncles - Darryl Smith, Larry Coats, Danny Coats and Rev. Steve Simpson; devoted cousin Whittley Humphrey; special cousins Demond White, Tader White and Garrett Bailey.  Best friend of many years Michael Thompson, and a host of special cousins and friends and extended family, Bailey, Weaver, Young and Mattocks Family.
