Nathaniel Flood, 75, passed away June 11, 2024, in Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, surrounded by many loved ones. He was born on August 11, 1948, in Charleston, South Carolina, to Mr. Samuel Capers and Ms. Viola Young. He proudly served his country in The United States Marine Corp. and will be remembered for his determination, giving spirit, and loving personality. 

He was preceded in death by his loving parents and siblings: Herbert Fludd, Jesse Chapman, Benjamin Fludd, Deloris Bailey, Author Fludd, Samuel Capers, Viola Ruth Williams, and Terry Capers. 

Nathaniel is survived by his wife of 53 years, Deborah Flood; three children, Robbie (Tasha) Flood, Timothy Flood, and Tiffany Flood; Six grandkids, Kasandra Flood, Robbie Flood II, Demetrius Flood, Alexus Flood, Calvin Wilson III, and Miracle Flood; eight loving great grandkids; one sibling, John L Fludd; six in-laws and a host of nieces and nephews. Special friends, Andrea Gallman and the Sunday Night Gang who will cherish his memory.
