Norman  Jeffrey Nelson

Norman Jeffrey Nelson, age 64, passed away on September 21, 2023, at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born to Barbara Nelson in Knoxville, TN on January 15, 1959.

One of his greatest passions was indulging in fishing, a pastime that brought him immense joy and satisfaction. Additionally, he was an avid enthusiast of football and enjoyed playing and watching the sport whenever he got the chance. Moreover, he had a deep-seated love for food. He had a love for old-school music. In his later years, he professed his love for Christ.

He was preceded in death by grandmother, Margret Bryant; great-grandmother, Emma J Davis; Aunt, Dorothy Anderson.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Barbara Burdine-Sadler; brother, Gerald Burdine Jr.; aunts, Emma Nelson-Taylor Lexington, TN, Deedee (Frank) Horton, Judy (Jacob) Carter, Linda Bryant-Kinte, Ernestine Hardnett, Theora Isom-Jamison; devoted friend, Douglas Johnson. A host of family and friends too numerous to name.
