Someone once said, “"Those we love and lose are always connected by heartstrings into infinity.” It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Omarr Sharieff Rashida Fountain, Jr. of Knoxville, TN. Omarr was born on May 30, 1989, and transitioned on Friday, February 12, 2025.

Omarr's smile and laugh was large, silly, and sweet, spreading warmth and drawing smiles from all around him. Everyone who met him couldn't help but be drawn to his infectious joy or swoon over his bright eyes, thick locs, and cool, calm demeanor. He was a loyal son, amazing father, and devoted brother, nephew, cousin & friend.

Omarr is preceded in death by his loving Great Grandmother, Vivian Smith and Grandparents, George Davis & Veorleen Fountain. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his rock & loving Mother, Shanti Davis (Shawn Porter), and Father, Omarr Sharieff Fountain, Sr., Children, Jalen Sharieff Fountain, Hendrix Sherieff O’Sean Fountain, & Navi Amorr Fountain, Grandmother, Debra Davis, Grandfather, Musheer Rashada, Uncles, Renard Fountain, Askia Fountain,and Tyson Brown, Aunt, Tenaya Jones, Siblings, Joseph L. Avery, Shaudia M. Rashada, Ashley M. Rashada , Jasmine S. Rashada, Chandler K. Fulton, Brayden J. Horne, Alanna Rashada,  devoted friends Augusta “Stuffy” Robinson, Adarious Littlejohn, & Jasmine Harris, and a host of other faithful family members and friends. His light will sorely be missed by all.
