Paula Ann King of Knoxville went home to be with the Lord, May 11, 2025.
Paula Ann King graduated from Rule High School Class of 1973 and worked for the Knox County School System for many years. She was a member of Honey Rock Victorious Church for many years and later joined Open Door Church.
Paula was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Betty Stone Dixson; father, Cleo Herrington; step-son, Gerod Strickland King; grandparents, Alfred and Elizabeth Stone, Sr; sister, Shelia J. Dixson; nephew, Duke Stinson, Bill and Rusty Smith.Jr and brother, Rusty Smith Sr.
Paula is survived by daughter, Jai’Onna R’Miah King; niece/daughter; Michelle Herrington; nephew/son, Roshawn Herrington; devoted sister-in-law, Minister Shirley King; brothers; Michael Herrington, Robert Lee (Darlene) Dixson and Marvin D. Dixson; step-children, Wendell (Trulett) Strickland King, Julia (Donnie) Thorpe and Latasha King; aunt, Marsha (Jimmie) Baker; Marvin (Delores) Stone; grand-children, Keiwana Turner, Keith Turner, Jalfa Clark, Tye'Quan Herrington and Roshawn Herrington, Jr; God-daughter, Angel Bowman; devoted friends, Linda Shell, Marilyn Hamilton,Doliver Turner, Gloria Stevenson and a host of neices, nephews and other relatives and friends,
