Paula Annette Nelson, 72, was born on March 31, 1951. She was relieved from her earthly duties and taken into the arms of our heavenly father on October 23, 2023. She graduated from David McKenzie High School in Detroit, Michigan, Class of 1970.

Preceded in death by her parents, Cleo and Josephine “Nana” Nelson; aunt, Elizabeth Williams; brothers, LaVern Nelson Sr. and Joe Lynn (Evelyn) Nelson; sisters, Alva Jean (Cliff Love) Clemons and Margarette (Dexter) Brown; great-nephews, Kevin “Blackjack” Price, Dametrius Thomas, Marlon Nelson; cousins; Brenda Campbell, Tommy and Kitty Hayden; sister-in-law, Linda Nelson; special friends; Margie Sparks, Alecia Steed, Lilia Norries, Darryl “Fat Daddy” Mitchell and  Sonovia Floyd.
