Regina Moore Obituary

Regena Latrace Moore, at the age of 39, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 19, 2019.

Regena, a lifelong Oak Ridger, was born on August 9, 1979 to Joe Ann and Johnny Moore.

Regena graduated from Oak Ridge High School with the class of 1997 and her passion for her Wildcats never faded.  The only team that could ever come close to generating the same amount of passion for Regena was her beloved Georgia Bulldogs.

Regena would find another great passion in the caring for other people, as she would later go on to achieve her RN from Lincoln Memorial University.

But all passions paled in comparison to the one that was the source of every ounce of energy, grit, determination, and joy for Regena:  her family.

Regena’s legacy lives on in her two sons, Torey Delane Kimber (19) and Keegan Latrell Guyton (12).

Regena’s two sons are joined in mourning this loss by Regena’s parents:  Johnny and Joe Ann Moore as well as Regena’s siblings:  Johnny Moore jr., Stephanie Imes, Darrel Drake, and Sheron Streeter.

This is to say nothing of the vast family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins that are left behind, holding on to the love that Regena showered on them.

Regena’s legacy is deeply felt by her friends, her church family at Highland View Church of Christ, and everyone who ever had the privilege of meeting her.

Tuesday, February 26, 2019, the family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm with the funeral service to follow at Highland View Church of Christ, 138 Providence Road, Oak Ridge, TN.  Minister Levi Dodd officiating.  Regena will be laid to rest the following day at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Ridge Memorial Park where a white dove release will conclude the service.  Flowers may be delivered to the church the day of the service.  Professional arrangements entrusted to Patton Funeral Home, Brian L. Buckmon, LFD 1-800-824-8283
