Pastor Gregory E. Sawyer was called home by the Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 22, 2023. Pastor Sawyer was born to the late William and Wilma Sawyer on April 17, 1968. He was the Pastor of Fern Street Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by parents, William and Wilma Sawyer; sisters, Brenda Lundy and Linda Sawyer; and brother, William "Pete" Sawyer Jr.
Survivors; wife, Titonia (Toni) Sawyer; children, Daniel (Chananel), Whitney, Joshua (Shadricka) Sawyer; sisters, Patricia Sawyer, Wilma "Peaches" Buford; father & mother-in-law, Daniel & Naomi Hinton; sisters-in-law, Danetta (Keith) Dailey, LaCrechia (George) Lyons; brothers-in-law, George Chandler, Daniel Jr (Tamara), Robbie (Angie) Stuart; 10 grandchildren, several other relatives, and church family.
