Robert Antawin Morton was born July 3, 1977, to Richard Wilson and Tanya Morton in Nashville, TN. Robert is also known as Rob-Dogg or Dobbie. He passed away peacefully on April 4, 2024.
Robert moved to Knoxville at the age of 11 and attended the Knox County School System.
Robert enjoyed playing basketball, listening to music, gambling, and talking his stuff to people.
Rob -Dogg also loved playing the game from sun up to sun down; he loved dogs; he also loved his snacks and, last but not least, his cars.
Robert was preceded in death by their grandfather, Leon Morton, Sr., and grandparents, Beatrice and Emmanuel Hines.
He leaves behind his mother Tanya (Korell) Flowers; father, Richard Wilson; sister,Latorya(Sean)) Frazier; children, DaShira Buley, Deel Young, Robert Smith, Roshaun Smith, Romiyah Morton, and Raquan Cross; grandchildren, Quin’Nilah, Amiracle, Laquinton, Kemarion, Eri’Onna, Ja’Coriea; nieces, Jamesha, LaTanya, JaMerica, Amiana, and nephew Anthony; grandmother, Belinda Morton.
Rob was loved by his aunts, Vanessa Reynolds, Valeria Morton, Connie Morton, Artavie Morton, Shateka Morton, and Cynthia Hines.
Uncles Leon Morton, Jr and Maurice Morton, and a host of other family and friends including the Morton and Bradley Family, as well as the Lonsdale Community.
Rob-Dogg had a lot of friends/brothers and sisters from another mother. He was very well-known and loved all his people. Rob-Dogg did not play about his little sister and would go to war with anybody, no matter if she was right or wrong. Rob-Dogg always would say he was going to be a millionaire, and his mother and sister would have nothing to worry about until the day he was shot, then his dream was washed away.....
