Ronnie Turner Obituary

Ronald Eugene Turner was born June 14, 1956 to Mary Ann Turner and Limb Simpson in Calhoun, Georgia.  He departed this life on January 12, 2021 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.

Ronnie was educated in Knoxville City Schools. Ronnie accepted Christ at an early age.  Ronnie loved to cook and show off his culinary skills in the kitchen at home and at work.  He was a chef at the Hyatt Regency, Naples Italian Restaurant and Calhoun’s from where he retired. Ronnie was an avid sports fan!  He loved to watch the Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Lakers.  Ronnie was a free-spirited man who enjoyed spending time with his family especially his brother, whom he called “Richard."  He was known for giving people nicknames.

Ronnie loved to laugh and tell fascinating stories.  He could make you laugh when you were feeling worst.  Ronnie will always be remembered for loving his family no matter what.
