Rosalind Jackson Johnson

Rosalind Jackson Johnson passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at her home in Corryton, TN.

Rosalind blessed John B. and Lucille Jackson with her presence on October 27, 1941, in Knoxville, TN.  Rosalind had the delightful gratification of growing up with and eventually marrying her best friend Fitzpatrick Johnson.  Together they lovingly raised three beautiful daughters Patrice, Patria and Rolinda.  Rosalind was a loving, kind-hearted and devoted wife and an exceptional Mom. 

She enjoyed cooking, baking, crossword puzzles and working in her garden.  Her greatest joy was spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Preceded in death by her husband and parents.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Patrice and Patria Johnson and Rolinda (Keith) Tillery; grandchildren, Steffan and Iaian McGhee, Keenen Griffin, Jagr Guerra, Cuauhtemoc Flores and Kaia Jung; great grandchildren, Alannah, Khaliyah and Elyas McGhee; sister, Sandra Jackson; special nephew, Shawn Jackson; a host of cousins, other family and friends.

Friday, April 8, 2022, the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Payne Avenue Baptist Church, 2714 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Knoxville, TN.  Adhering to COVID-19 protocol, social distancing and face coverings required. A Homegoing service will follow with Bishop Farris Long as the eulogist.  Please have flowers delivered to the church.  Interment at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 5901 Lyons View Pike, where a white dove release will conclude the service.  Professional arrangements entrusted to Patton Funeral Home, Brian L.
