Simon Ware

Simon Ware, age 99, died Friday, June 17, 2022, at Hospice of Chattanooga.

Simon was a great father. He was generous and concerned about everyone’s well-being. He loved cleaning cars and owned his clean-up shop and a café. He worked with and for J.T. Haun and had a small landscaping business with Sam Cannon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister; Notha Ware, brothers; Will Ware and Walter Ware, Ray Ware, Lee Ware sons; Milton Hall, David Ware, and Lorenzo Pugh.

He is survived by his children, daughters; Ruth Cox, Wendelyn Hall, sons; Nathanial (Ivy) Ware, Ivan (Sherry) Hall, Maurice (Patsy) Pugh, Vincent (Nicole) Hall, Robert Ware, Anthony Hall, and Malcolm (Brenda) Hall. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren,great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

   Body may be viewed Thursday, June 23 from 3pm-6:00p.m. at the Patton Funeral Home Chapel, 265 Fair Street, Cleveland, Tennessee. Family will receive friends Friday, June 24 at 12pm until 1pm service time, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 799 Inman Street. Reverend Edward S. Robinson Sr. , Pastor, Revered Martha Tibbs, Eulogist. Interment to follow at Ft. Hill Cemetery.
