Stanley P. Latham

Stanley Paul Latham, 64, departed this life on September 25, 2021, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was born on March 27, 1957, in Knoxville, TN.

Stanley enjoyed many hobbies and activities such as football, NASCAR racing, fishing, and dirt bike riding. After graduating from Fulton High School (Class of 1976), he began training as an electrician. He was employed by several businesses in the city. 

Stanley loved the Lord and enjoyed time with family and friends. He was a member and a musician at First Baptist Roseberry City Church.

He was preceded in death by parents Daniel and Lillian Latham; brother Danny Latham; grandparents Aaron and Laura Thomas; brother-in-law Melvin Porter.

Left to cherish his memory: son, Aaron Daniel Latham; sisters, Brenda Ghosten (Rev. Walter L. Ghosten), Teresa Porter; brothers, Michael Latham; twin brother, Gregory Latham (Vicky Latham), Dwight Latham and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends who loved him dearly. 

The family would like to express special thanks to Linda Latham for all your support. Special recognition to friends, Chuck Rogers, Tommy Hall, and UT Hospice. We also want to thank everyone who called, sent text messages, prayed, and extended deeds of kindness and love during this time.  Family and friends will gather at 218 Chickamauga Ave. Knoxville, TN.  

Friday, October 8, 2021, a memorial service will begin at 12:00 p.m. on the grounds of First Baptist Roseberry City Church, 217 Hiawassee Ave. Knoxville, TN.
