T’erick Lashawn Carter Sr., age 33, of Morristown, Tennessee, passed away on April 29, 2025. Born on May 25, 1991, in Knoxville, Tennessee, T’erick was a devoted husband, father, son, and friend whose love for life and loyalty to his family and friends were unmatched.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Fleming, and his brother, Anthony Johnathan Page.
T’erick is survived by his loving wife, Shilante Carter, and their two beloved children, T’antay and T’erick Jr., who were the pride and joy of his life. He is also survived by his mother, Lisa Flemming; grandmother, Gwendolyn Stewart; brothers, D’Angelo Page and Robbie Carter; sister, Deja Carter; and aunts Sonia Greenlee, Teresa McCants, and Felicia (Harry) Ingrams. He leaves behind a close-knit and cherished group of cousins, including Ken (Jenae) Easterly, Jennetta Stewart, Carl Sparks, Carlisha McCovery, Da’rion Gaston, James Elliott, and a host of others who held a special place in his heart.
T’erick is also survived by a multitude of nieces and nephews, including Anyrah Page, Ajabeon Stinson, Mckeelyn Stinson, and Quaden Robinson. His in-laws loved him dearly.
T’erick found joy in the simple things—being surrounded by family, cheering on his children in their athletic pursuits, and making memories with those he loved. A passionate fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Tennessee Volunteers, he could often be found watching games, celebrating victories, or talking sports with anyone willing to listen. He had a deep appreciation for music and enjoyed gaming with his closest friends, sharing laughter and camaraderie through every connection.
T’erick’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and loyalty. He touched the lives of many with his easygoing spirit, genuine heart, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear.
