Tamara Osborne Obituary

Tamara Rene Osborne, affectionately known as Tammy to all who knew and cherished her, has been called home to the Lord, completing her earthly journey on the same hallowed grounds of Knoxville, Tennessee where it began on November 12, 1974. A beacon of light and love, Tammy was a testament to the power of faith and the strength of the human spirit.

Tammy attended Pellissippi State Community College, earning an associate degree. She worked with the Knox County School System for thirteen years before attending Tennessee College of Applied Science, where she graduated with honors from the Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program.

Proceeded in death by Herbert Osborne (Father), Spencer Osborne (Half-Brother), Owen and Betty Jo Smith (Grandparents), Owen Smith Jr. (Uncle), Rosaline Slater (Aunt), Patricia Willis (Great Aunt), and Evelyn (Joe Lynn) Nelson (Great Aunt and Uncle). She leaves to cherish her memories Faye (Barry) Queener (Mom and Dad), Latyra Osborne (Daughter), Charles Slater (Uncle), many devoted cousins Mia Brabson, Trina Simms, Martie Nelson, Kimberly (Rogers) Slater Robinson, Neal (Melissa) Slater and many other relatives and friends to include: David Shell, Shelia Hayden, Eric Lane, Keehona Latham, Carla Gillespie, Corrine Crawford, Janice Wilson, Fatima Wallace, Jeffrey Bell, Erica Echols-Miller, and Stephanie Tapscott.

Tammy's life was a melody composed of many notes, harmoniously intertwined, and among them, singing held a special place. At an early age, she became a member of the music department at Rogers Memorial Baptist Church, singing in Choir #2, Celestial Chorus, Young Adult Choir, and the Praise Team. Her voice was a source of inspiration and comfort to those around her. She sang with the passion of one who understands the power of music to heal, to unite, and to uplift.

Today, we gather to remember and honor the life of Tamara Rene Osborne. Let us not dwell in the shadow of sorrow but bask in the light of her memory. She walked among us as a living testament to the virtues of compassion, dedication, and joy. Though her voice has joined the heavenly choir, the echo of her song remains in the hearts of all who loved her.

Special Thanks to Dr. John Swisher with STAT Care and the Fort Sanders Center for Advanced Medicine (CAM) nurses.

Special Thanks to Shelia Hayden for all your love and support shown to use during this time.
