Terry Glen Woods

Terry Glen Woods gained entrance to his heavenly home on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at the age of 61.

Terry Glen Woods and his twin sister, Sherry, were born in Knoxville Tennessee on December 3, 1960, to Earnest Reese and Ressie Mae Woods.  He was employed as a construction worker for over 30 years, in North Carolina and surrounding areas.

Terry loved his family and would often call and just leave a message that just simply stated, “I love you.”  Terry also loved the Word of God, his church family, Community Evangelistic Church, the outdoors and his support dog, Misty Blues.

Preceded in death by father, Earnest Reese; mother, Ressie Mae Stovall; stepfather, Frank Stovall; sisters, Sherry Woods and Shelia Story; grandmother, Lue Tissie Woods; grandfather, Morris Ellis Woods; aunt, Annie B. Woods; uncle, Luster Woods.

Survived by sisters, Loretta Fowlkes (Ronald), Diane Hampton, Patricia Green (Nelson), Angela Thompson; brother, James Woods; daughters, Chatterra Bryant Woods, Terri Love Woods, Hattia Bryant Woods; nephews, Clinton Story Jr., Daniel Perkins, Quentin Perkins, Kenneth Thompson, Mathias Green, and Joshua Hampton; nieces, Ressie Michelle Woods, Tabitha Hampton, LuTisha Thompson Jackson, and a host of cousins, other family members and friends.

Saturday, January 8, 2022, , A Celebration of Life service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Community Evangelistic Church, 2650 Boyds Bridge Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37914.  Reverend Reginald Strong officiating.
