Thomas Richard Nolly, “Uncle Rick,” age 64, of Lenoir City, TN, went home to be with our heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Peacefully transitioning with his wife, children, and grandchildren by his side.
Born June 22, 1957, in Knoxville, TN, he was the son of John and Agnes Cody Nolly. Rick was a proud graduate of Fulton High School, Class of 1975. He was a loving and devoted husband, proud father and caring “Big Daddy” to his grandchildren. Rick was an avid motorcycle rider and a huge Alabama football fan. He enjoyed life and was a joy to be around. He was a good friend too; always willing to help others.
Preceded in death by his son, Jon, daughter, Amelia, and his parents.
Survived by his loving and devoted wife, A. Diana Nolly; children, Rick Jr., Shamiyeh (Shamon), Sierra (Todd) and Ricco; grandchildren, Moni, Demias, Demiyeh, Ramiyah, Aslynn (Brittany), Raeyah, Asia and Hunter; in-laws, Gary, Jeff, Rhonda and Tonya; aunt and uncle, Anita Nolly and Herman (Jeanette) Cody, both of Georgia; special cousins, Carmen, Tonda and Leon; nephews, Teshaun and Antoine; dear friends, who were more like family, Lewis, Chuck, George, John, Malcolm, Stanley, Wallace, Billy, Jack Sr., Rod, Tommy, Greg (Vicki), Taye, Sheila and Denny.

Saturday, December 11, 2021, a public walkthrough scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Rogers Memorial Baptist Church, 520 College Street, Knoxville, TN. Social distancing and face coverings required. A Celebration of Life to follow for immediate family and close friends. Rev. Dr. Michel S.E. Caldwell is the eulogist.
