Thyron Anthony Gray, Sr. was born on November 25, 1970; he was the youngest of three children born to Jerrie Gray of Knoxville, Tennessee.
He passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the age of 51 at his residence. His mother, maternal grandparents Norman and Sophronia Gray, Aunt Eliza Marie Gray and Best Friend/ Brother in law Dennis “Wolfgang” King preceded him in death.
Anthony was a graduate of Rule High School class of 89 where he excelled in basketball. He affectionately wore the #53 honoring his Uncle Buh during his ball days. HIs deep love for his family and friends was always evident and something that will be cherished in our hearts forever.
Anthony is survived by his sons, Anthony Jr., Hakeem (Brandi)Gray, DeAngelo Winton, and Kamoni Gray; his former wife, mother of Anthony and Hakeem, and devoted friend Shavonne Gray; siblings, Alisa Madden, and Kimberly Gray; his Uncle, William Scottye Gray(Orlinda) and Aunt, Betty Gray; Grandchildren, Tennison Gray, Shiloh and ArManii Winton; nephews and nieces, Andre Jr., and Sophronia Jackson, Brandi King, Brandon and Brittney Gray and Jeffrey Gray, Jr.; Great nieces and nephew DeAsia and DeSean King, Deriyah McNair, Dreiona, Andraya, and Dreivyon Jackson; cousins, Jeffrey (Jaye P.) Gray and Scottie Gray-Stephens, T. Nicole Gray; Goddaughters Ja’Charia Mathis and Allie Harris; close friends Danny Kyle, Darris Jack and John Madden.
