Our beloved Toby McClellan Jr., 27, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 14, 2022. He was born on May 20, 1995 in Knoxville, Tennessee, to Toby McClellan Sr. and Rhonda Easterly McClellan.

Our family is devastated and shocked by this loss. He will truly be missed by friends and the entire community.

After attending West High School, he went on to become a Truck Driver with his dog Ryder by his side. Toby was a bright young man who touched the lives of every person he met. From his laughter and his calm demeanor, he showed love for all mankind. He also enjoyed checking on the elderly in the neighborhood. His hobbies included riding his motorcycle and exploring the world.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents Leroy and Orithia Cantrell Sr, and paternal grandparents William Love, and Jesselle McClellan.

He will always be remembered by his parents Toby McClellan Sr. and Rhonda Easterly McClellan; grandparents Ronnie Easterly and Barbara Cantrell Easterly; sisters, Chanity Easterly, Moriah Anderson, and Shadeja Chandler.; aunts Katina (Kenny) Wright, Cheryl Blair, Tracey Jackson, Sophia (Reno) Hall, Carmen (Brett) Blue, and Deborah (Gary) Polk; uncles, Ricky Love and Greg McGhee; great aunts Joyce (Robert) Benson, Kathy (Barry) Thompson, Mary (Maurice) Wade;great uncle Leroy Cantrell Jr.; cousins Elizabeth Cantrell, Sherelle (Anthony) Lundy, Tenai Glenn, Tesia (Matthew) Scruggs, Temple Reed, Jeffrey Thompson, J’Ana Reed and Ireland Thompson. a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

To include devoted friends; Debo, Jerry Ray, Richard Ray, Derrick Crenshaw, Kamian Fowler, and Tyler Atkinson.

Family will receive friends on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m with services to follow. Rev. Leroy Franklin, Officiating. Interment, New Gray Cemetery. Social distancing and face covering require. Flowers maybe delivered to the church prior to the service. Professional arrangements entrusted to Patton Funeral Home.
