After much suffering and pain, it pleased God to call Travis home to rest. Travis was a gift from God, born on October 7, 1977. He departed this life on June 26, 2023. He was a joyful baby, full of love and laughter. Travis attended schools in the Oak Ridge City system where he was active in sports.
Travis is preceded in death by grandparents; Lamar and Rena Hall, and Rev. Frank Maddox, special aunts Eunice Howard and Marie Senter (who loved him as if they had birthed him), and uncles Kenneth and Edward Martin, and Rev. Lionel Domineck.
He leaves to carry his legacy, his children: Jazmyne, Tavion, and Maleigha, along with his granddaughter Ky”Leigh. Cherishing his memory include his parents: Pastor Leon and Connie Baker and Calvin Ray and Faye Maddox, Sr. Additional loved ones remaining include: his grandmother, Mrs. Delores Domineck, his siblings, Calvin Maddox II, Rayshelle (Anthony) Hickey, Carissa Maddox, Telisha Ashford and Cassandra Ashford. Celebrating his life includes aunts and uncles: Diane Watson, Michael Martin, Minister Dorothy (Willie) Graves, Pat (Tim) White, and Eric (Darnelle) Domineck. Devoted cousins are Phyllis Harshaw, Kyntrell Harshaw, and Brittany Buis. Many cousins and nephews and very special friends; Tonya Newcomb, Leonard Blair, and Derrick Johnson.
