Trecia Dixon Obituary

It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Trecia Michelle Dixon, a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Born on June 10, 1982, in Hope, Arkansas, Trecia's vibrant spirit and infectious smile brought joy to all who knew her. She departed from this world on January 13, 2024, in Knoxville, Tennessee, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and dedication.

Trecia was the beloved daughter of Reverend Tiki Dixon and Sharon Dixon. She grew up alongside her sisters, Tabetha Dixon-Blakley and Tiffany Dixon, in a home filled with laughter and unwavering support. Her family was her foundation, and she cherished every moment spent with them, including her adored nephew Michael Blakley, her niece Michiah Blakley, and her nephew Ashton Bolden  and niece Addison Bolden.

Trecia was a member of Overcoming Believers Church in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Trecia's passion for justice and service to others was evident early on. She pursued her dreams with vigor, obtaining an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Gadsden State Community College and later graduating with a Bachelor Degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Her educational journey was a testament to her dedication and hard work, and it laid the groundwork for her future endeavors.

Professionally, Trecia excelled as a Sales Representative, where her friendly demeanor and thoughtful approach to client needs earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues and customers alike. She was a passionate advocate for her work, always striving to make a meaningful impact in her field.

Beyond her career, Trecia was a woman of many interests. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as listening to music, which allowed her to feel connected to the world in a unique and profound way. Always one to embrace technology, she loved staying in touch with friends and family through phone calls and texting. Cooking was another of her talents, and she often delighted those around her with her culinary creations. Trecia was also an avid shopper, always on the lookout for the perfect gift to brighten someone's day.

Trecia's friends and family will remember her as the epitome of friendliness, thoughtfulness, and passion. She approached every aspect of her life with a full heart and an unwavering commitment to making a positive difference. Her presence could light up a room, and her absence will be deeply felt by all.

In the words of Helen Keller, "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Trecia's love, laughter, and kindness have indeed become a part of us. They are the gifts she leaves behind, woven into the fabric of countless lives she touched.

As we say goodbye to Trecia Michelle Dixon, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and joy. Her memory will continue to inspire us, encourage us, and remind us of the beauty of a life well-lived.
