Troy Anthony Hollingsworth

Troy Anthony Hollingsworth, age 64, departed this life on October 6, 2021. He was born June 2, 1957, to Ralph Bogan and Mattie Hollingsworth in Knoxville, TN. He attended Rule High School where he played basketball. Troy loved to cook. For several years, he was lead cook at various restaurants in the Knoxville area.

Preceded in death by his son, Ceon Dicky; grandparents, James and Gladys Hollingsworth; uncle, Daniel Hollingsworth and cousin, Howard Hollingsworth.

Left to cherish his memory: daughters, Leslie “Brown Sugar” Hollingsworth and Aleta “Nikki” Chaney of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, William P. IV, Wilyauna, Bryanna, Jason and Jerrion; devoted mother, Mattie Hollingsworth; father, Ralph Bogan of Queens, NY; brothers, Darrell Hollingsworth and Reginald “Reggie” Wilson; a host of other family and friends.

Saturday, October 16, 2021, a graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m. at New Gray Cemetery, 2724 Western Avenue, Knoxville, TN.  Social distancing and face coverings are required.  Words of comfort by Nathaniel Bradley.  A white dove release will conclude the service.  Flowers may be delivered to Patton Administrative Office, 2104 Magnolia Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37917 on Friday, October 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Professional arrangements entrusted to Patton Funeral Home, Brian L.
