Valerie Denise Motley-Bailey departed this life on Aug. 2, 2025, at UT Hospital due to a long-term illness. Born Feb. 14, 1971 to the late Robert Charles Motley Sr. and Mary(Jackie)Dickey. She was a member of Peace & Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church. She attended and graduated from Austin East High School. She worked as a Caregiver in Knoxville and Chattanooga, TN.

She leaves to cherish her memories with mother, Mary Dickey(Jackie), John Bailey (ex-husband of Chattanooga, TN.); brothers, (Robert of Knoxville, TN., Shawn Bailey of Chattanooga, TN.); sisters, Leslie Wynn of Madisonville, TN., Deshema (Yancey), Lakisha (Sam), LaQuisha (Quack), of Knoxville, TN. and Shamika Foster of Nashville, TN..

A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, and friends.
