Wayne Edward Wilkerson passed away on May 17th, 2024. Wayne was born in Knoxville, TN, and an Austin-East Class of 1984 graduate. Wayne also loved to DJ, going under "DJ Wil Rock." Wayne was employed by the University of Tennessee Medical Center as a cook. He was an avid Tennessee Titians Fan.
He is preceded in death by parents, James and Ruth Wilkerson; sisters, LouAnn and Terry Wilkerson; niece, Deanna (Harris) Jackson; great-niece, Breanna Jackson; aunt, Virginia Hill; cousins, Sharon Carter, Claudia, and Adrian Hill
He is survived by niece Tameka Wilkerson; nephews, Trevon and Brandon (Marie) Wilkerson;great nieces, Braylin, Brazeal, Brielle Wilkerson,Tamesha Jackson; great nephew, Darius Jackson; cousins Natasha and Tamara Carter, Bruce Wilkerson, and the entire Wilkerson Family.
His devoted friends loved Wayne, including Hiram Ware and Sam Washburn.
