William Wilkerson III

William Wilkerson III, affectionately known as Allen, was born on August 11, 1988, in Knoxville, TN.  He passed, at the age of 33, on December 3, 2021, at his home in Nashville, TN.

Preceded in death by his grandmother, Carrie Mae Wright, uncles, Brooks, Samuel and James Cannon, Frederick and Robert Wright, and Horace Moultry; aunts, Minnie Lee McHenry, Sallie Moultry, Ophelia Gilmore and Alma Harrison.

He leaves to cherish his memory: parents, Karen Elise Wright and William (Lisa) Wilkerson II; children, Tracionna (Shae) Wilkerson, Dream and Nacioun Johnson, and Zaiidyn Tuffin; bonus son, Jermaine Johnson; brothers, Jordan and Isaiah Wilkerson; sisters, Andrea and Diamond Wilkerson; bonus sister, Latoshia Hopewell; grandparents, Lee Wright and William “Papa”  and Patricia “Babe” Wilkerson Sr.; uncles, Melvin (Amy) and Kelvin (Sonya )Hopewell, David (Kim) Wright and Areece (Tatianna) Carson; aunts, Ericka Wilkerson and Edwinna (Walter) Wilkerson Harris; great uncles, Willie (Linda) Cannon, Marvin Matthews, and Royce Wright; great aunts, Georgie Ann Cannon and Mae Smith; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Saturday, December 18, 2021, a public walkthrough scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Eternal Life Harvest Center, 1801 Western Avenue, Knoxville, TN.  Social distancing and face coverings required.  A funeral service will follow for immediate family and close friends.  Pastor Ashley Kariuki officiating. Interment at Mount Olive Cemetery, where a white dove release will conclude the service.  Flowers may be delivered to the church prior to the walkthrough.

The family will assemble at the home of Lee Wright, 3106 E. Fifth Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37914.
