Willie Mae Butler

Willie Mae Butler went home yo be with the Lord on Monday March 4, 2024 surrourdedd by her family. She loved her pastor and church family

at Beamount Baptist Church where she was a faithful member.

She was born on December 25, 1918 in Cherokee, North Carolina and raised her family in Georgia and Tennessee.

She was a Registered Nurse at Baptist Hospital for several years before she retired. After she retired she was a dedicated volunteer in the Western Heights Community for over 20 years. She loved people, her family, cooking and her roses.

Proceeded in death by her husband Edward Lee Butler, grandson Kevin Darnell Simpson, her parents and all of her siblings.

Willie Mae is survived by her children Mary, Edward, Joann and Carl Lee (Vickie) Butler; Grandchildren, Carlton (Eva) Simpson; Great- grandchildren, Callissa, Gatlin, Noah and Jay.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
