Willie Todd Obituary

Willie “Big Will” Orlando Todd was born on January 29, 1982, in Knoxville, Tennessee. He transition on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital.

Will attended Oakwood Elementary School, Whittle Springs Middle, and graduated from Fulton High School, class of 2000. He was a football team member (#63) and played little league football for the Rule Golden Bears.

Will was a member and deacon at Kingdom Faith Church. Where all, especially the children, loved him. They loved and adored him. They always liked to wrestle and play with him, and he always made sure to have candy for them.

Will was a laid-back, go-with-the-flow dude. He was a die-hard Alabama “Roll Tide” fan. His favorite role was that of husband and daddy. He loved and adored his wife and girls.

He was preceded in death by parents, Willie B. Todd and Kimberly D. Brown; grandparents, Willie Tarver and Willia E. Ray; grandfather, Randolph Brown, Sr., great-grandfather John Atkins; great-grandmothers, Odessa Atkins and Lillie Minnefee; aunts Allyson Opara and Maggie Baldwin.

He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted and loving wife, LaTronda Gillespie-Todd; devoted and loving daughters, Trinity and TiAnna Todd; devoted grandmother, Mary Brown; devoted aunts, Patricia Odessa Brown, Roslyn(Kevin)Johnson, Mary Brown; aunts, Elaine Ray(Richmond, VA), Dorothy Wagner(Eclectic, AL), Louise Blount(Birmingham, AL); devoted uncle, Randolph(Reanne`)Brown Jr., uncle, Frank Todd(Montgomery, AL); devoted cousin-brother Charles(Jennifer), devoted cousins, Ramon, LaKeisha, Jason(Chenelle), Shavona, Michelle, Whitney, Agnes, Alice, Chucky, Jermain, and Terrence; In-Laws, Sherman and Debra Bess, Andropoulous, Celeste, Shamian, and Tommy "Pete"; other relatives to include the Stokes, Cantrell, Anderson, Mack, Owens, Ray, and Todd families; host of nieces, nephews, little cousins, and host of friends too numerous to name and those who loved him.
