Ginger Shirrel Robinson fondly known as “Gin” was born on January 10, 1977 to the late Raymond Robinson, Jr. and Jacquelyn Robinson Frazier in Knoxville, Tennessee. From the moment she arrived she has been a blessing and joy to her family. Ginger departed this life on Monday, October 21, 2019 when the Lord reclaimed her soul.

Ginger is preceded in death by her father, Raymond (Ray) Robinson, Jr.; grandmothers, Louise Arnold and Mattie Lee Robinson; grandfather, John Thomas (J. T.) Arnold; great grandfather, Robert T. Caldwell; great grandmother, Martha Caldwell, great nephew, Levi Cullom.

Subsequently, she received a certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant and also a certificate as a Phlebotomist. Eventually, Ginger began working in the food service department in the Knox County School System. She worked at Sarah Moore Green and Lonsdale Elementary Schools. Upon her death she was the cafeteria manager at Lonsdale.

Ginger joined Eternal Life Harvest Center under the pastorate of the late Reverend James H. Davis. In recent years she enjoyed worshipping at different churches in the Knoxville and surrounding area.

Ginger was the mother of two boys, Mylek and Kobe. Her sons were the loves of her life each one sharing their own special unique place in her heart. Ginger loved the simple things that life had to offer. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crafting and creating exceptional personal gifts for family and friends. Whenever there was an opportunity to exchange gifts or participate in Secret Santa activities everyone wanted Ginger to get their name. You could be assured of getting everything on your list, as well as, something extraordinary just for you.
