William Goldston Obituary


William Allen Goldston was born to the late Willis and Pauline Smith Goldston. He departed this life on Wednesday September 30th at the age of 66. He was retired from the State of Tennessee as Area Manager and graduate from Memphis State University. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. Brothers Nelson E. Goldston and Randy Goldston Sisters Sherry Smith and Willette Goldston. His mother in law Dorothy Moore. 


The legacy of his family will sustain the memories he leaves for them to cherish through his wife of 30 years LaSonya Moore Goldston, four sisters Bertha Goldston, Debra Faye Goldston, Donna Kaye (Ronald) McClure, Elise Goldston. Three sisters in laws Karin Moore, Kelli Moore, Nicole Moore and Consuela Dunn. Kemo Goldston, beloved son; Nephews Brandon Goldston and Brendan Lawrence, Nieces Jadrian Goldston, Briana Moore, Tierra Hall, Jordyn Moore and Miranda Dunn. Great nieces Kaia Dodd, Kailyn Milner and Skylii Goldston. Great nephews Raquan Dodd, Antonia Whaley, Parker Jackson and Quentin Jackson Robert Pickney IV. Great Aunt Earline Tucker of Mansfield, OH. Father in law Raymond Moore and family Special Friends Vincent Hall, Calvin Jarrett, Kim Bradford and a host of cousins and friends.

Monday, October 5, 2020, a public walk through visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Patton Funeral Home Chapel, 265 Fair Street SE, Cleveland, TN.  Social distancing and face masks are required.  Graveside Service will be Tuesday, October 6, 12:00 noon at Fort Hill Cemetery, Cleveland, TN with Rev Marvin Howard   will be the eulogist.   

During this time, we will remain in compliance with the Governor's Executive Order #17 (COVID-19).
